The CMSP-VIDEO-2 Dual Port Surge Protectors from L-com provides protection for video equipment from destructive electrical surges due to lightning or noisy electrical equipment. These units are ideal for protecting Surveillance and CCTV Cameras, DVRs, Surveillance PCs and Video Monitors. The units will also protect RF and video equipment connected to 75 Ohm coaxial lines. The CMSP-VIDEO-2 utilizes an avalanche diode in concert with a low capacitance diode array. This minimizes capacitive loading of the line and provides improved frequency response over competitor's models. The CMSP-VIDEO-2 connects the coaxial cable shield to the unit's ground terminal.
