The Extron Media Player  EMP, is a browser-based media player for MP4 (M4V) files produced by the SMP 351 Streaming Media Processor. EMP provides an enhanced playback experience, incorporating metadata, time-synchronized thumbnail images, and advanced playback controls into the user interface. This data and controls provide the user with greater insight into the event and the ability to efficiently navigate and playback the recorded material. EMP requires no software installation and can be operated from virtually any PC or personal device using a variety of browser applications. EMP is used with recording file packages that have been processed by Extron Streaming Content Manager - SCM software.
