These tactical assemblies are built with genuine Mighty Mouse connectors to either RJ45 or USB type A connectors in Category 5e, 6 or USB 2.0 standards. In recognizing a growing need in tactical military, aerospace and specialty industrial markets for a connector series that mimics the electrical and mechanical performance of popular mil-standard connectors, but in a smaller and lighter package, the Mighty Mouse is designed to be perfectly suited for a wide range of power and signal applications that depend on reliable environmental and mechanical performance as well as high-speed applications such as gigabit Ethernet and USB. At just half the size and weight of D38999, the high-performance Mighty Mouse is now specified on hundreds of mission-critical interconnect applications worldwide and has become the de facto high-performance connector solution for many former users of D38999. L-com assemblies are built with low smoke zero halogen jackets and offer a male or female Mighty Mouse connector to a standard RJ45 or USB connector. Mighty Mouse connectors are IP67 rated even when unmated and offer superior lock-down and grounding characteristics when compared to standard connectors. All assemblies are shielded for EMI/RFI resistance and are suitable for outdoor usage.
