L-com's IP68 Ruggedized Cat6 Cables for Heavy Industry

L-com has expanded their range of ruggedized cable assemblies. These are built using shielded, Category 6, RoHS compliant metal Electroless nickel ruggedized connectors that are IP68 rated.

The FR-TPE Category 6a, 10gig rated Ethernet cable used to build the TRG695RG family of cables is Oil and UV resistant, Double Shielded with Foil + Braid Shields, High-Flex tested to 1 & 10 million flex cycles, PoE compliant and UL CM/CMX industrial/outdoor rated with a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C.

All ruggedized female/jack connectors are transversely sealed with or without a mated connector and/or dust cap and maintain an IP68 rated seal at all times.

These cable assemblies are ideal for use in outdoor or industrial networks, and particularly harsh environments such as Oil and Gas.
