We also require all suppliers to comply with applicable legal standards and requirements.

This Privacy Policy is designed to give you information about the way ITM Components collect and use personal information.
We want to make sure that when we collect information from you, we do so in a way that does not infringe your right to privacy.
- We only send Newletters to customers who have subscribed to receive them.
- We only send information regarding relevant products and services.
- We will always make it clear who we are and how we can be contacted.
- We will always provide a simple option for customers to unsubscribe from our emails through a link at the bottom of the email.
- You may wish to contact us from time to time by sending us letters or emails or by filling in the contact forms on our website. We will only use this information to respond to your query or suggestion.
Modern slavery is a crime resulting in an abhorrent abuse of human rights. It is constituted in the Modern Slavery Act 2015 by the offences of ‘slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour’ and ‘human trafficking’.
The provision in the Act requires that any commercial organisation in any sector, which supplies goods or services, and carries on a business or part of a business in the UK, and is above a specified total turnover, must produce a slavery and human trafficking statement for each financial year of the organisation.
Due to the size of its annual turnover, ITM Components Limited is not subject to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and thus has no legal obligation to provide information about our supply chain.
However, our company is well aware of its social responsibility with regard to the environment, safety, health and human rights.
In support of Modern Slavery Act 2015, ITM Components Limited will:
- Acquire products from suppliers who can commit to meeting the “spirit as well as the letter” of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
- Implement adequate processes to record supplier commitment to meeting “the spirit as well as the letter” of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
- Expect our suppliers (and their suppliers) to exercise due diligence with respect to the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
The mining of certain raw materials in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and the adjoining countries partly contributes to significant human rights violations and to the financing of violent conflicts in this region.
Therefore, Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act has been passed by the US Congress in 2010 and should contribute to ending these violent conflicts in the Democratic Republic Congo and adjoining countries.
Under this law, companies which are subject to the SEC's supervision (Securities and Exchange Commission) must disclose the extent to which products they produce contain minerals such as tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold.
ITM Components Limited is not subject to the SEC's supervision and thus has no legal obligation to provide information about the use of conflict-free minerals.
However, our company is well aware of its social responsibility with regard to the environment, safety, health and human rights.
Our activities are based on the established frameworks of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and other industry initiatives. In support of this policy, ITM Components Limited will:
- Not acquire any materials that contain minerals that are not conflict-free and whose sale supports the armed conflict in the DR Congo.
- Implement adequate processes to comprehend whether our products contain the minerals mentioned above and is committed to both the traceability of the related goods and the transparency of the supply chain.
- Expect their suppliers (and their suppliers) to exercise due diligence with respect to the source and procurement of tantalum, tin, tungsten and gold, which are contained in components and products sold to ITM Components Limited, and on request can prove the conflict-free origin of these minerals.
We hereby declare that all products sold by ITM Components Limited are (unless specifically stated*1) compliant with RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU of the European Parliament and the Council from 08/06/2011 on restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic appliances. Following substances namely are involved:
- Lead (Pb)
- Cadmium (Cd)
- Hexavalent chromium (Cr)
- Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB)
- Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PentaBDE, OctaBDE; DecaBDE)
- Mercury (Hg)
ITM components declares that all of the companies we represent manufacture their goods to be in compliance with RoHS certification.*2
*1. Several of our manufactures do produce non-RoHS compliant versions of their products.
*2. Sales of these products are restricted and the customer will be advised of the Non-RoHS complient status of the product.

ITM Components Limited is a Distributor/Reseller of electronic hardware. We are therefore considered a “downstream user” as far as the REACH document is concerned. ITM Components is therefore not obligated to register with the European Agency for Chemicals ‘ECHA’.
Products sold by ITM Components Limited are “articles” as defined in REACH (Article 3 Definitions). Moreover and under normal and reasonably foreseeable circumstances of application, the articles supplied shall not release any substance. Therefore, ITM Components Limited is not under any obligation for registration, nor for the creation of material safety data sheets.
In order to assure our customers the continual supply reliable and safe products, we ensure that our suppliers fulfil all requirements regarding chemical substances and prepared materials.

This policy is communicated to all staff & is available to interested parties including the general public. This will assist in achieving continual improvement and lead to the progressive development of the management system & will be supported by auditing to ensure adequacy, effectiveness and compliance.

ITM Components purchases product only through our Authorized Manufacturers and Suppliers, thereby ensuring that product is new, authentic, and fully warrantable under the direct supplier and that accurate up-to-date technical product data is readily available. ITM Components does not purchase products from sources other than authorized manufacturers and suppliers. ITM Components does not purchase refurbished products for re-sale. Authorized manufacturers and suppliers are continually assessed to determine past performance.
ITM Components maintains traceability back to the OEM for purchases from Authorized Suppliers, retaining the original purchase orders and other receiving documentation, including any Manufacturers’ Certificate of Conformance, for the required retention periods for these documents.
ITM Components follows a strict returns policy that includes:
- Confirmation of the traceability of the product from ITM Components to the customer including original purchase date and part number.
- Incoming inspection to assure that all parts are undamaged and in original packaging.
ITM Components reports all occurrences of counterfeit parts, as appropriate, to internal organizations, manufacturers, customers and criminal investigative organisations.
