New USB-C 10Gbps 7-Port Industrial Hub from Newnex

The new FireNEXTM-uHUB-10G is a 10Gbps industrial grade USB-C hub that provides up to 100W Power Delivery. This new model is designed to meet the needs of increasing demands for USB 10Gbps connectivity in a harsh environment and supports rapid charging through the USB PD protocol.

The FireNEXTM-uHUB-10G comes with 1 upstream USB-C port with PD support up to 100W and 5 downstream ports (three USB-C, two USB-A) that support data transfer rates of up to USB 3.1 Gen 2 at 10Gbps, while also maintaining full support of lower USB data rates such as USB 3.0 at 5Gbps, USB 2.0 and 1.1. The hub also has 2 additional downstream USB 2.0 ports for users to easily add in a couple of USB 2.0 peripherals, such as a keyboard and mouse. All of the 10Gbps ports are fully compliant with the industrial standard locking specification that supports both dual and single screw locking to ensure more secure interconnections.

FireNEXTM-uHUB-10G fully supports USB Power Delivery 3.0, uniquely providing USB PD in both upstream and downstream directions. With sufficient power supply, the hub can charge the host computer, such as a laptop, via the upstream USB-C port up to 100W (20V/5A) maximum and simultaneously to the device side via the downstream USB-C port up to 100W (20V/5A). Both USB PD ports are compliant with USB PD 3.0, automatically adjusting its power profile between 20V, 15V, 9V and 5V based on the devices’ needs.

All USB ports come with overcurrent and ESD protection, fully protected from faulty peripherals and electric shock.
