The RACKMUX-4K17-N consists of a forward-folding 17.3” TFT/LCD monitor that supports resolutions to Ultra-HD 4Kx2K 3840x2160 at 60Hz 4:4:4. This has a compact, heavy duty tactile keyboard with 17-key numeric keypad; and a three-button touchpad mouse. It also features a front panel security lock and a front panel USB 2.0 port to connect an external USB device, such as a flash drive. The console drawer is compatible with HDMI or DisplayPort USB computers, and is compliant with HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2a, and HDCP 2.2/1.4 standards.
Each RACKMUX® 4K HDMI/DisplayPort USB KVM Drawer is equipped with On Screen Display (OSD) to control brightness, contrast, phase, Horz- and Vert-center alignment, zoom, and color adjustment. The LCD screen automatically shuts off when in the closed position. Torque-friction hinges prevent the monitor from wobbling, springing, or slamming shut.
Constructed with rugged steel with a durable powder coat finish, the 1RU KVM drawer is designed to be a one-person installation job. It is adjustable to various rack depths from 24” (610 mm) deep to 40” (1,016 mm) deep. The console drawer locks into place when open to prevent it from sliding in and out of the rack. An internal cable arm provides proper cable management for sliding the drawer open and closed.

When it comes to starting using an HDMI cable, compatibility is one of the main concerns. Nowadays, there are many types of HDMI cables on the market: Passive Copper HDMI Cable, Active Copper HDMI Cable, and Active Optical Fiber HDMI cable. Regardless of the types you choose, most of us have a hard time trying to solve the compatibility issues.
It is generally accepted that Active Optical HDMI cable is the high-speed HDMI signal transmission solution of the future. But on occasion we find HDMI AOC cable does not work after it has been installed? Why is that?
