Programmable LED Sensor Display for Enterprise Environment Monitoring Systems

NTI LED Sensor Display

NTI has now added the ENVIROMUX® Programmable LED Sensor Display to its popular and practical line of enterprise environment monitoring system accessories. The display is able to show the data from any or all NTI ENVIROMUX® sensors configured on an E-2D/5D/16D system, including even cascaded units – internal sensors, external sensors, digital inputs, output relays, IP devices, SNMP sensors, power supplies, events, and smart alerts.

The E-PLSD features 14-segment LED characters, including: five characters for sensor value reading; fourteen characters for displaying sensor name/location; and three characters for indicating unit of measure for the sensor value being displayed. The LED display characters illuminate green when sensor status is normal, yellow when a sensor is in non-critical alert (warning), and red when in critical alert status (alarm).

Configuring and programming the LED display is done using the E-2D/5D/16D web interface. Simply set the sensor order to be displayed; set the display duration for each sensor before it switches to the next sensor status being displayed; enable sensors in warning/alarm to be the only ones displayed; and nickname the sensors. Three touch-sensitive buttons are available on the front panel to manually make adjustments – “SENSOR” to display the data for the next sensor, which stops auto-scan for 30 seconds and then resumes auto-scan; “BRIGHTNESS” to adjust the LED intensity/color; and “MODE” to switch Celsius to Fahrenheit for temperature sensors.

The Programmable LED Sensor Display features an RJ45 port for connecting an external temperature/humidity sensor (E-TRHM-7) for monitoring temperatures from -4 to 140°F (-20 to 60°C) and 0 to 90% relative humidity up to 500 feet away. The display is powered by an included 24VDC 1.5A external power supply, is wall mountable, and is made in the USA.
