VPI introduces their new 8K HDMI 2.1 Cables
VPI's new 8K HDMI 2.1 Cables are able to locate an 8K 48Gbps 4320p 60Hz HDMI display up to 10 feet from an Ultra High Speed HDMI video source. The cables support plug-and-play.
The HD8K-xx-MM cables support resolutions up to Ultra-HD 8K (7680x4320) @60Hz, 4Kx2K (3840x2160) @120Hz, and HDTV 1080p @240Hz. In addition, resolutions up to 10K@120Hz are supported using the visually lossless VESA Display Stream Compression (DSC) 1.2a.
HDMI features supported include: HDMI 2.1; up to 16-bit Color and 48-bit Deep Color; YCbCr 4:4:4, YCbCr 4:2:2, YCbCr 4:2:0, and RGB; Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Digital, Dolby Atmos, DTS Dolby, and LPCM 7.1; bandwidth up to 48Gbps; dynamic HDR; Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC); support for CEC (consumer electronic control); and 3D. The 8K cable is HDCP 2.3 compliant and has low EMI for sensitive applications.
