L-com's premium slim TRD828-BLU-1F Category 8 rated, 25 to 40gig cable assembly is here for your fastest and highest capacity data applications. Built with Cat8 rated F/FTP cable, the TRD828 series can handle bandwidth of up to 2000MHz and is perfect for server room and data center usage. Since Category 8 has strict specifications for noise restriction, our TRD828-BLU cables uses a double shielded design with an overall foil shield and individually foil shielded twisted pairs to provide maximum protection from data corrupting EMI and RFI while also reducing or eliminating all forms of crosstalk. The slim design has an approximately 38% smaller cross sectional area and a 33% reduction in weight compared to standard cables which greatly promotes air flow and reduces stress, especially on dense patching or confined space applications such as those found around servers, datacenters, racks, panels and cable trays.
Our TRD828-BLU-1F is built with a durable CM rated PVC jacket. It is terminated with 50um gold plated RJ45 (8x8) male plug connectors. Over molded boots provide robust strain relief for the connectors and the shark fin style latch makes for easy disconnects. Special flat (TRD824FLAT series) assemblies are also available as well as standard round cable in PVC and LSZH jackets for applications where cost effectiveness is paramount (see TRD824 or TRD824Z series).
