The MLC Plus 400 is an easy-to-deploy, all-in-one control system featuring an elegant, 4” color touchscreen. As with all Extron MediaLink Plus controllers, it combines a familiar user interface with a powerful control processor in one compact product. Intuitive button layout templates available within Global Configurator are designed to support common AV functions like display power, source selection, and volume control. The provided pre-defined templates aid with setup and configuration by eliminating the need to create custom GUIs or workflows from scratch. With the new MLC Plus 400, you can quickly and effortlessly create clean, easy-to-read AV control interfaces which are ideal for classrooms, boardrooms, or any environment that would benefit from an all-in-one, compact Ethernet controller with an elegant, upscale color touch surface.

• Easy setup and configuration — Global Configurator together with the included Extron preconfigured button layouts make the deployment easy and eliminate the need to create custom GUIs and workflows
• Personalize your GUI experience — Optional specialty pages included in the template provide custom Start, Notification, and Help screens. Add your school or company logo as well as other helpful information to enhance the user experience.
• Gorilla Glass® screen is tough, scratch, and smudge-resistant — Corning Gorilla Glass is stronger and more scratch-resistant than standard glass, while maintaining touch sensitivity, color saturation, and brightness.
• Flexible mounting options — Can be mounted virtually anywhere, including walls, lecterns, or tables. It is compatible with Extron EWB and SMB series of enclosures.
• Built-in speaker — Provides audible feedback when buttons are pressed to confirm user action.
• Energy-saving features: Adjustable sleep timer puts the controller into sleep mode ; Motion detector wakes the controller
• Light sensor adjusts screen brightness as the ambient room lighting changes
• Two bidirectional RS-232 ports — Captive screw serial ports that can communicate with two RS-232 serially controlled devices.
• Two relays for controlling room functions — Enables control of lighting, screen settings, and other device functions.
• One IR port for connecting up to two emitters — For one-way control of external devices.
• One digital input — Allows for a connection with a variety of devices, such as sensors and switches.
• Remote volume control port for Extron MPA Series and select XTRA™ Series amplifiers
• PoE Powered — 802.3af Power over Ethernet allows this controller to receive power and communication over a single Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for a local power supply.
• Supports Ethernet-controllable devices: Up to 4 devices with Global Configurator Plus ; Up to 8 devices with Global Configurator Professional
• Supports the Extron Control App which provides an additional point of control by allowing mobile devices and PCs to act at the user interface for the system
• Supports secure industry standard communications protocols — Many ways to communicate to the device on a network.
• Supports 802.1X Authentication — Provides support for IEEE 802.1X authentication standard for port-based Network Access Control.
