L-com™s LCAD9798 type F push-on 75 ohm F male to type F female adapter is part of the full line of RF components from L-com. Our type F to type F adapter has a male to female gender configuration. LCAD9798 type F male to type F female adapter operates to 1,000 MHz. The L-com RF adapter provides good VSWR of 1.5:1 maximum. The LCAD9798 L-com RF adapter can also be used as a connector saver to extend equipment life. RF adapters are often used to enable connections between two connector types that would otherwise not mate. Certain adapter configurations can also be used to protect connectors on expensive equipment where the number of connect/ disconnect cycles is high. An RF, microwave or millimeter wave adapter is connected to the equipment, and the commonly changed connection is made with the adapter which can be easily replaced when it wears out after high usage; such adapters are referred to as connector savers.
