The Extron USBC-HD is a USB-C® to HDMI adapter cable for 4K signals. It connects USB-C equipped sources that support DisplayPort Alt Mode to HDMI displays and peripherals. The adapter converts DisplayPort into HDMI signals. The USBC-HD is available in 6-inch (15 cm) and 6-foot (1.8 m) cable lengths. The 6-inch (15 cm) version features male USB-C to female HDMI connectors and is available in two models. The USBC-HDF/0.5 model supports 4K/30 signals while the USBC-HDF4K60/0.5 supports 4K/60 signals. The 6-foot (1.8 m) version features male USB-C to male HDMI connectors and supports data rates up to 18 Gbps and 4K/60 signals. EDID, HDCP, and audio information are passed between source and display. The USBC-HD is ideal for integrating USB-C equipped DisplayPort Alt Mode source devices into new or existing HDMI AV systems.

Comparable SM Series Show Me® cables are available. Show Me cables feature an integrated button on the source connector and a three-conductor pigtail on the opposite end to enable source selection when used with a switcher having contact closure remote control.
