Product Datasheet Extron MLC PW/RS-232/VC cable assemblies are used to provide RS-232 MediaLink® Switcher control or volume control of Extron MPA Series and XTRA Series audio power amplifiers from a MediaLink Controller. Extron MLC PW/RS-232/VC cable assemblies are ideal for connecting control system components due to the low capacitance rating of the 22 AWG shielded twisted pair utilized for critical control communication, and two 18 AWG conductors for sending remote power to an MediaLink Controller. MLC PW/RS-232/VC interconnect cables are unterminated and feature two color-coded 18 AWG, double-shielded conductors, two 22 AWG low capacitance shielded twisted pair cables, and a drain wire, all enclosed in a single jacket These time-saving and cost-effective cable assemblies are available in pre-cut lengths of 50' (15.2 m).
