Streaming Content Manager - SCM is a software management tool for processing, packaging, and delivering MP4 files produced by the SMP 351 Streaming Media Processor during impromptu and scheduled recording sessions. SCM prepares SMP 351 recordings with metadata into file packages for playback by the Extron Media Player  EMP. SCM also defines the storage directory, users, groups, and access rights for AV recordings using data obtained from standard network directory services. SCM uses a unique user identifier such as an email address obtained from the AV control system to authenticate users and notify them when recording packages are available for retrieval.
